Hereford Motocross Club Rules 2010

1. All members must attend all Business Meetings and sign the club meeting book. Meetings will be held on the SECOND Monday of each month ( with the exception of December ) and will start at 8.30pm prompt.

2. Failure to attend a Business Meeting will result in a letter being sent to the rider member. Unless Prior Contact with the club Secretary or Chairman has been made. On the receipt of two such letters the offender will be banned from the next home meeting and required to marshal themselves and supply a helper for the next day.

3. All licence holders 16 years old and above MUST ATTEND or supply a substitute for ALL work parties, except at the Committee's discretion. The work party book MUST be signed by Everyone who attends, substitutes must sign for the rider member who they are working for.

4. ALL RIDER MEMBERS 16 years old and above, must supply a helper on Race Day as well as themselves. Any rider who has not supplied their specified helper on race day within 15 minutes of calling for them, shall forfeit their ride and do the specified duty themselves. Should this occur the rider will be dealt with at the Committee's discretion.

5. On a home meeting Race Day, if a RIDER MEMBER DOES NOT ARRIVE ON TIME ( to be agreed beforehand ), they will incur a penalty of one extra work party to be completed at the next home meeting. ( At the Committee's discretion ).

6. There will be NO CREDIT given on Reg payment. ( Regs MUST be PAID for BEFORE BEING SIGNED ).

7. All AMCA letters/agenda should be read out at Business meetings and voted on by members when required.

8. To enable any rider member to qualify for any Annual Race Day Trophy, a licence must have been held with the club for at least 2 months in the current season or have been an ACTIVE rider member in the last 3 years.

9. All licence holders aged between 14 and 16 are required, once they have progressed from the Inter Juniors, to attend and undertake appropriate duties at all work parties. The duties to be undertaken will be decided by the Committee and with the permission of the parents or guardians.

10. Any discipline issues affecting the Club or its members will be considered by a Discipline Committee. The Discipline Committee will consist of 6 members who attended the AGM for the season plus 1 of the elected officers.

11. Dissolution

If upon the winding up or dissolution of the Association (HMXC) there remains, after satisfaction of all debts and liabilities, any property whatsoever, the same shall not be paid to or distributed amongst the members of the Association, but be transferred to some other institution (whether or not a member of the Association) having objects similar to the objects of the Association, or to some institution (whether or not a member of the Association) the objects of which are the promotion of charity and anything incidental or conducive thereto, such institution or institutions to be determined by the members of the Association at or before the time of dissolution. The AMCA will be absolved from any form of responsibility in the event of HMXC going into liquidation.
